Smt. Prameela Mandayam

Smt. Prameela Mandayam started her musical journey at the age of five with her grandmother Smt. Janaki Ammal. She is currently under the tutelage of Sangeeth Samrat Sri Chitravina N Ravikiran and his disciple Mrs. Anahita Ravindran. She is very grateful to her former gurus, Smt. Prathima Shashidar, Smt. Padmavathi Tyagaraju and Smt. Meera Krishna from Seattle. Smt. Prameela Mandayam is a well known teacher and a perfomer in the greater Seattle area. She and her students have been actively performing for prestigious events in Seattle and other places like Cleveland Aradhana, Tyagaraja, Purandara, Annamacharya Aradhana, Melharmony festival and dance arangetrams to name a few. She has received many accolades since childhood.

Smt. Veena Girish

Smt. Veena Girish has received her carnatic vocal training under the guidance of Vid DV Nagarajan( Bangalore), Vid Nagavalli Nagaraj and now learning under Vid. Ganesh Rajagopalan. She has completed her junior and senior music examinations conducted by Karnataka secondary Board. She has performed and participated in many Carnatic music festivals and events here in Seattle . She has been singing for dance arangetrams for the past few years.

Sri Susheela Narasimhan

Mr Narasimhan learnt violin from Sri H.K. Venkatram in Shimoga for about a year and later on from Sri H.K. Narasimha Murthy for about 6-7 years in Mysore. He has played for many concerts in the bay area.  He also teaches violin in the Bay area and has produced good students who are now playing for concerts in the Bay area.  He has composed many Krithis, Thillanas and Pallavis on Lord Raghavendra Swamy and runs a Melakartha Pallavi Concert Series.  He has also given lecture demonstrations on California Arts Association Television on violin playing.  He also occasionally organizes thermatic concerts based on Ragas, Composers etc.  He has a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering and works as a Senior Lead  Thermal Engineer for Nvidia in Santa Clara.

Chi. Anish Mandyam

Anish Mandyam is a junior in high school. He started his mridangam training under the tutelage of Sri. Jagadeeswaran Jayaprakash who has been monumental in honing Anish’s skills and advanced techniques. He also learns from Sri. B. Ganapathy Raman from Chennai.

Anish likes to accompany for both music and dance. His accomplishments include providing accompaniment for Akkarai sisters, performing at Cleveland Aradhana and many more.

Apart from mridangam, Anish also likes playing tabla and gets his training from The Anindo Chatterjee Institute of Tabla.
